How We Experience Fragrance
Most fragrance houses begin by asking, "What should this smell like?"
At House Simply Crafted, we begin with a different question:
"What should this make you remember?"
We experience fragrance as more than individual notes. A blend becomes like a melody, where each ingredient plays its own part. Together, those notes create a feeling, that feeling becomes an image, and that image often awakens a memory.
One person may smell vanilla and think of baking with a grandparent. Another may be transported to a favorite holiday, a childhood bedroom, or a quiet evening spent with someone they love. There is no right or wrong experience. Every memory is deeply personal.
That is how we create.
We don't blend fragrances simply because notes complement one another. We blend them because, together, they sing a tune that paints a picture—one capable of carrying us back to a moment worth remembering.
